Faith to Deliver Destiny

Twenty-five years ago today, I gave birth to my first born. I awakened to labor pains in the midst of a lightening and thunder storm. The day before, I sensed this child was coming early as I held on to the door frame of the bathroom during a significant earthquake. Heaven and earth prepared as I was about to deliver this precious child into the earth realm. I was instructed to start pushing at 4:00 p.m. They said I would deliver this baby within an hour.
In the hours ahead, things got complicated. I pushed and pushed and the baby did not come. I felt, "Am I doing something wrong?" I pushed for hours, but no baby appeared. Then, I had to be put on oxygen because the baby was not getting enough oxygen. The hospital mid-wife refused to do a C-section. She said it was not an option. The baby was stuck. Unbeknownst to me, I was in back labor because the baby was turned the wrong way. I remember thinking, this baby is never coming out. How do I get this child our of me?
How many of you feel that your destiny is stuck within you? The gifts and calling within you have not yet manifested in the earth for all to see. You are carrying greatness on the inside of you! You feel it kicking! It is real! Yet, you feel stuck. I truly feels like your God-given destiny is lodged within you to never see the light of day. Ponder Hebrews 11:11, " By faith even Sarah herself received the ability to conceive [a child], even [when she was long] past the normal age for it, because she considered Him who had given her the promise to be reliable and true [to His word]."
Think about Sarah, who considered God faithful, reliable, and trustworthy and true to His word. By FAITH, Sarah received strength from God to conceive a child way past childbearing years. But consider this! God also gave Sarah strength to deliver the child naturally (no hospitals in sight) at ninety-nine or 100 years old! Who would like to sign up for that task? But by faith, Sarah counted God faithful, trustworthy, and true to His word causing her to conceive and deliver a child, a patriarch of our faith, even though it seemed way too late. In fact, it was impossible! But faith in God, His Word, and His power to fulfill His promise, produced a supernatural miracle!
Do you feel God has passed you by? Do you feel destiny is locked up within you? Have you conceived from the Spirit of God within you, but so much time has past, things have become complicated and you cannot see how it will be birthed? Are you walking around spiritually bloated with divine destiny stuck inside of you? We all know that satan does not want you to fulfill the purpose that God created you for. Today, I want to challenge you to release your faith. The Lord released His faith in you when you were created! His faith in you and His love for you is greater that satan's desire to stop you! Put your faith in the Heavenly Father today that He has given birth to greatness inside of you. Holy Spirit is available to be your mid-wife. Yield to Him and His instructions. Count God faithful, reliable, and trustworthy. Consider Him true to His word to fulfill His promise. He can finish the work He is doing on the inside of you and deliver you into the destiny Father has called you into.
By the way, I did deliver that baby! It turned out to be a beautiful girl named Demarise. I pushed form 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. that night. In the Lamaze class that prepared us for child birth, they instructed us that the mother will push for an hour, two at the most. They lied! But God is faithful! Release your faith today that God Himself knows who to deliver you into your divine destiny, at His perfect time in history, that will be for His greater glory. If Sarah had given birth during normal childbearing years, would God have received any glory? Probably not. Realize you are in a supernatural birthing process. You serve a supernatural God! God has a divine timing for everything that concerns you. The Lord's timing was interesting with the birthing of my daughter. I went into labor at 7:00 a.m. awakened to the thunder storm. She was birthed at 11:00 p.m. Her weight was 7lbs. 11 oz. Every time I see a 7-11 convenience store or 7:11 on the clock, I remember that God is birthing something on the inside of me. He is birthing greatness on the inside of you! Like Sarah, release your faith in Him that He is in control of your destiny journey and your birthing process. Count Him faithful, reliable, and trustworthy to fulfill His promises through you. He is true to His word! Keep believing. Keep pressing. Keep pushing and you will see the beautiful manifestation of what the Spirit has conceived on the inside of you!
