90-DAY FAITH CHALLENGE
Fear Is The Enemy of Faith

Did you know that a spirit of fear is the enemy of faith? Fear breeds anxiety that robs you from fulfilling your purpose. Satan, our enemy, will use the spirit of fear as a form of intimidation. This roadblock will detour you from the plans God has designed for you. John 10:10, says, " The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly
." This exposes Satan as a thief who does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. Yet, God reassures us that He came to give us abundant life.
Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary
defines fear as, "a real distressing emotion aroused by danger. Whether it is real or imagined; the feeling or condition of being afraid appears real." If one embraces this emotion of fear, doubt will arise within to prevent you from believing and praying the promises of God for your life and lives of others. Remember, you have the power to resist the enemy, Satan, by the authority of God's Word. Begin to speak and declare boldly to the bully that you have the victory. Repeat to him Psalm 84:11 "... no good thing will God withhold from those who walk uprightly
."
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a great civil rights activist, once said, "Take the first step in Faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase. Take the first step." This is a great example of how we grow in faith, one level at a time. Let's take one step and learn to trust the Lord to show you the next step. Our enemy, Satan, has already been defeated by Jesus! He can no longer use the spirit of fear to hold you captive. He is a liar and deceiver. Stand firm! You are victorious!
